
RYA Powerboat Level 2
This two day course provides the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. It aims to teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations. The certificate issued will be endorsed to show the type of boat in which the training took place.

Prerequisites
age 12+*
no experience necessary.
*Under 16s are only qualified to operate a powerboat under the supervision of a competent adult.

2 days (or 4 evenings)

9:00 am - 5:00 pm each day
What do you need to bring?
Warm layers
Tough boots or shoes, ideally waterproof
A passport photo for the certificate
Lunch (kettle and microwave available)
