About Us

We are a relatively new club and are keen to welcome potential and trained divers. We are able to offer training up to BSAC Advanced Diver grade.

We enjoy branch diving activities and branch organised expeditions/ holidays. We pride ourselves on being friendly and supportive to all who wish to participate in the sport we love.

We are currently involved, along with many other community based organisations, in the creation of a Kintyre Seasports multi-discipline group sharing proposed club house facilities.

Training

We are a BSAC registered club, meaning all our training is executed to this internationally recognised standard.  Our instructors are qualified to teach people that are complete beginners all the way up to Advanced Diver grade.

Being Safe

Scuba diving has a really good safety record and this is mainly due to the training we do before participating in our adventurous sport. BSAC training is world-renowned for being extremely thorough and what's different about BSAC is we build in safety skills and training from the start. Scuba diving's good safety record is justified by good training, sound equipment and safe practices. Campbeltown Dive club will teach you everything you need to know to be a competent safe diver.

Club Life

Campbeltown Dive club pride ourselves on being friendly and supportive to all who wish to participate in the sport we love.  We enjoy diving activities and branch organised expeditions and holidays.  We like to take advantage of outstanding location, as the Kintyre has countless dive sites from reefs and wrecks to shore dives and boat dives.

We meet on Tuesdays at the swimming pool to carry out any training or skill development.

We are in collaboration with Kintyre Seasports to deliver community programmes such as 'The Deserving Diver' and delivering 'Try Dives' at the community regatta.

What is a Try Dive all about?

A Try Dive is a great way to introduce the experience of the underwater world to a complete beginner.

A typical Try Dive involves poolside tuition on diving techniques and equipment, followed by a scuba dive in a swimming pool with a BSAC-qualified instructor to make sure you get maximum enjoyment from your first scuba dive.

A Try Dive can help you save time and money by finding out in advance if you like diving.

Want to take the plunge?

If you are interested in taking part Try Dives are being offered at £15 per person.

Please contact us with your interest before arriving.

Our club meets for training sessions on Tuesday 6:30pm at the Aqualibrium
