The Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund are supporting a programme of sessions which encourage people who may not otherwise have participated in seasports to get afloat. During 2026 the sessions are running as a partnership between Kintyre Seasports and Kintyre Canoe Club.

Kintyre Seasports and Kintyre Canoe Club are pleased to announce the return of our supported water sports programme, the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Project, offering a free and fully inclusive gentle introduction to water sports to members of the local community aged 18 and over.

What's on offer?
Try Kayaking
On the loch sessions, learning the basics of kayaking. Hosted by Kintyre Canoe Club. Experience Campbeltown Loch in an entirely new way and try out a new activity.
Prerequisites: 18+, no experience necessary, all abilities welcome
Location: Campbeltown Sailing Club/Dalintober Beach
Cost: Free, all equipment provided
